"The Dhamma Brothers" is a documentary about maximum security inmates who experience 10 days of absolute silence. The transformation that takes place is substantive in the inmates. They practice a form of meditation called Vipassana Meditation, very akin to "be still and know that I am God". We are excited to show this film the weekend of October 3, Friday at 7pm; Saturday October 4 at 1pm and Sunday October 5 at 1pm. Donation is 5 dollars, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
"70x7": a DVD for you! Is there someone you need to
forgive? We are proud to announce the creation of a DVD about
forgiveness entitled "70x7", based on the scripture. It is
dedicated to the Amish for their heroic act of forgiveness on October 2,
2006. It has original music, inspirational quotations, acting and
images, and a special step by step process on how to forgive. Call the
church to receive your copy or write us an email with your snail mail
address.
